Acıbadem University Technology Development Center (TEKMER), as a university located at the heart of the health ecosystem, was established on September 12, 2022 to provide support to entrepreneurs and businesses operating in the field of health and technology with its knowledge and energy at all levels.

Technology Development Center provides entrepreneurs and businesses with services such as access to financial resources, participation in offices and networks.
WHAT IS TEKMER?
Technology Development Centres (TEKMER) are structures where entrepreneurs and enterprises are provided with services such as business development, access to financial resources, management, consultancy, mentoring, participation in offices and networks in pre-incubation, incubation and post-incubation processes.
These processes are;
- Pre-incubation, training, counselling, mentoring, project idea verification and business development services provided for entrepreneurs who have not established their businesses, alone or in a group,
- Incubation, training, technical consultancy, mentoring, coaching, access to networks, finding investors, workplace/workspace and common use area/machinery/software services and promotion services and accelerator programme offered for the development of entrepreneurs or enterprises and commercialisation of project/business ideas,
- Post-incubation includes market strategy development, management, growth strategy, fund raising, access to networks services offered to enterprises that have completed/are about to complete the incubation
TEKMER; It is a structure that provides services to entrepreneurs or businesses that have technology/innovation-oriented business ideas/projects with one or more related themes and researchdevelopment and/or product/process/service innovation.
The right to use the names İŞGEM and TEKMER, which are taken under protection by KOSGEB under the Industrial Property Law No. 6769, is given to those who are found suitable after being evaluated by the Board
Tax Incentives and Exceptions
R&D and Design Discount
All (100%) of R&D and innovation or design expenditures are subject to discount in determining corporate income until 31/12/2028. However, the support to be provided to each R&D center in this context cannot exceed ten percent of the total number of personnel employed in the R&D center in the relevant month.
Customs Duty Exemption
Goods imported to be used in research related to R&D, innovation and design projects are exempt from customs duty and all kinds of funds, papers issued in this context and transactions made are exempt from stamp duty and fees.
Income Tax Withholding Incentive
R&D centers employing R&D personnel with at least a bachelor's degree in the fields of the program to be supported, the monthly gross amount of the monthly wage paid to each of these personnel, equal to the monthly gross amount of the minimum wage applied for that year, for a period of two years, from the appropriation to be put into the budget of the Ministry of Industry and Technology. is welcomed.
Entrepreneurs at the idea stage in the health ecosystem are provided with the basic infrastructure and training they need.
